THERE & BACK AGAIN

An exhibition commissioned by Samsung for their fashion arm Bean Pole in celebration of the brand’s 2Oth anniversary.
The company invited artist Sir Peter Blake to collaborate with Tomato on making the show. Images were overlaid with film projections triggered by PIR motion sensors. A film loop plays as a viewer moves close to the prints. The sound incorporated into the film chimes as the clip plays. Theses chimes grow in complexity as more and more of the loops are triggered. The audio chimes ebb and flow, altering the sound composition depending on how many people are visiting the space at any one time.
